Backing Tracks: Around The World

Backing Tracks: Around The World

Around The World

I have just returned from a trip practically around the world and I have found that wherever I go the most popular songs sung by most of the self contained singers are from the UK or American hit lists of many generations of singers.Songs by Abba,Frank Sinatra, etc;so to me it is pretty obvious that this will continue to be the case for many years to come. The company I work for www.Soundback.co.uk supply these tracks along with the present songs of popularity.Does anyone feel that a country will be able to compete against this in the future?

Imaginations Of Mandy.

Vivid imaginations are that of creators Mandy these are rare talents belonging to those as yourself who can visualize a song just by listening to the words and music,Videos in my opinion sometimes mask that and leave nothing to the imagination. The backing track "Remedy" by Little Boots that you mention is avaiable at www.soundback.co.uk to listen to a sample or buy the backing tracks click this link.
http://www.soundback.co.uk/mp3/LITTLE-BOOTS/Remedy/5905.php Personally my choice of a popular song to excite my imagination would be to sing a long to the backing track of http://www.soundback.co.uk/mp3/PIXIE-LOTT/Boys-Girls/5904.php but for all time selection that needs no video for me is
http://www.soundback.co.uk/mp3/THE-TEMPTATIONS/Just-My-Imagination/1879.php or

The Return Of A-Ha

Will it be a success can they come back from the dead Aha have just released "Foot Of The Mountain" aply named as to the heritage but will the self contained singer want to sing there songs in this modern age?Personally I am not sure.I believe that self contained singers are finding it hard to entertain with the songs of the day as much of our sales are for the old and trusted.Requests are still coming in for the likes of Matt Monroe and such, where will the music go next that can be enjoyed and sung in the Bars and Clubs that would be as entertaining as it was in the 80s & 90s even the Elvis impersonaters are getting thin on the ground.Me I will stick with songs such as http://www.soundback.co.uk/mp3/THE-TEMPTATIONS/Beauty-Is-Only-Skin-Deep/5051.php along with http://www.soundback.co.uk/mp3/THE-TEMPTATIONS/Just-My-Imagination/1879.php and to add a little tempo how about http://www.soundback.co.uk/mp3/THE-TEMPTATIONS/Get-Ready/1877.php I don't think singers singing these songs will go far wrong with todays regulars at the Bars and Clubs.
Anyone have any other suggestions?

Answers On A Postcard Please.

Hi,

My name is Katie Rhodes and I'm a country singer here in the UK. I really need the backing track for The Judds "love can build a bridge", but it needs to be 5.29 minutes long and i don't know how long the one is that you have on our site, so i didn't buy it. I have attached the version that I use live at the moment, but you will notice it has some kind of guide note running right through the track which is sooo unprofessional, but it's the one i need and want as i love the sounds in it and the backing vocals (i don't suppose you could take the guide note out?) Im about to embark on recording my first cd and this song is the title of the album and it needs to be right. Do you think you can help me?
How much would for you to record the track copying it from the one ive sent you? is it really expensive?is there any way of extending the version you have on your site so that it's 5.29 mins long?As a self contatined singer myself this obviously shows a naivity in the artist as it's my job to help customers how would you suggest I answer this? question.http://www.soundback.co.uk/mp3/THE-JUDDS/Love-Can-Build-A-Bridge/2305.php The version on www.soundback.co.uk site is just over 4 minutes long.

Teenage Years

Joe Connor comments that his teenage years spanned the emergence of punk music which following on from huge stadium bands like Emerson, Lake and Palmer and tightly crafted music from bands like Barclay James Harvest was a breath of fresh air. The energy an enthusiasm at live performances far outweighed their lack of musical ability and it wasn't long before bands with musical talent took punk into new wave, The Stranglers, Magazine, Wire etc. Happy days. Happy days indeed so here is a track that would span two generations Joe. http://www.soundback.co.uk/mp3/THE-STRANGLERS/All-Day-All-Of-The-Night/2103.php

Personally I prefer the original anyone else got an opinion on this or would you prefer a softer Kinks song such as http://www.soundback.co.uk/mp3/THE-KINKS/Waterloo-Sunset/1522.php .

What Are Your Thoughts On This.

I would like to know if anyone has an opinion on the lyrics to this song. http://www.soundback.co.uk/mp3/PUSSYCAT-DOLLS/Hush-Hush-I-Will-Survive-Remix/5844.php .Is there enough content in the lyric meaning or has it been designed just to dance to ?and what about the lyrics to this song?http://www.soundback.co.uk/mp3/LADY-GAGA/Poker-Face/5727.php .in comparrison to this one http://www.soundback.co.uk/mp3/COMPASSION-ART/Always-A-Song/5730.php .

Do You Have An Opinion On This.

We have an opinion from an anonymous subscriber but unfortunately www.Soundback.co.uk can only supply one backing track version of this song so we cannot reference how the feeling would be in this case but I take their point.Do you think that it is a generation thing as in the 50s some liked the aggressive Rock n' Roll whilst others took there comfort from ballads of the time.Remembering as with Punk much of the society wanted Rock n' Roll banned from the airwaves. This is the link to the Frank Sinatra version of My Way good luck with it. http://www.soundback.co.uk/mp3/FRANK-SINATRA/My-Way/5122.php

Mr Paul Says Do You Really Know Your Taste In Music

A comment from Mr Paul says he feels that Punk music is aggresive and can be frightening whereas softer music can be more comforting.Do you think he is correct in his assumption or do you have a different view.On my favorite Backing Track site you can buy all styles of music to sing to.Maybe it's an oppotunity to try something.Purchase a Punk song and learn to sing it then maybe a love ballad and analyze your feelings as you sing or those that you have made listen. It might give you an idea of the person you are.Try this one to start with http://www.soundback.co.uk/mp3/SEX-PISTOLS/Pretty-Vacant/2753.php Then try http://www.soundback.co.uk/mp3/GLEN-CAMPBELL/By-The-Time-I-Get-To-Phoenix/3682.php See if you can find a simalarity in these two songs or are they so far removed from each other there is absolutely nothing in common.
